Hi All
Welcome to day 2 of the 31 Days of Halloween. Today I have to share with you an altered box I made for the Halloween Ornament swap at Smeared and Smudged which I was a participant of. The skull image is from Smeared Ink and has been layed up. The box was painted in green paint and when dry a coat of PVA was applied then when this was tacky a coat of black paint was applied.

What a great hat box! The skull is wonderful - great job on it! I also love the scene for day 1 (I am just getting to some of yesterday's posts). It reminds me of a scene from an Edgar Allen Poe story or something. Lots of neat detail.
