Delicious Doodles

Hi All

This is my DT piece for Delicious Doodles our theme this week is Add a Charm. I have used a Delicious Doodles image called Steampunk Mermaid. She is coloured with pro markers. I have added a mermaid charm a 2 fish charms. We would love for you to join in with our challenge this week.

PunkyouGirl

Hi All

This is my first piece as a DT on PunkyouGirl  http://punkyougirl.blogspot.co.uk/  . This post is for our mid-way reminder. Our theme is Anything Goes as long as it is dark. So why not come on over and play along with us. As a DT we were  very luck to be able to pick a image to use from the very talented Ike from IkeArt  . I picked Sinful Beauty to use. http://www.ikesart.com

She was coloured using pro-markers. I then coloured the background yellow then with a orange ink pad I went around the edge . She was mounted on black card and then onto a white base card which I also inked around the edges.

Delicious Doodles

Hi All

It's time again for my DT piece for Delicious Doodles this week our theme is All Creatures Great and Small.  For my project I used a Delicious Doodles image called Wolf Howling.

I inked round the edge of the image with yellow ink and did the same with the base card.

Skull Appreciation Day with Smeared Ink

Hi All

Its Skull Appreciation Day today and at Smeared Ink they are having a blog hop which I just had to join in with. For my project I have made a Skull Pendent. My skull has 5 layers and was dipped into a melting pot. The image is from Smeared Ink. Delicious Doodles

Hi All

I hope you are all well. Today I have a card to show you that I have made for my DT piece at Delicious Doodles the theme this week is White on White the image I have used is from Delicious Doodles called  Mythical Pegasus.  To make my card I used a embossed panel in white on a white base card. I printed my image 3 times and fussy cut out and layered up. This was then placed in the centre on the embossed panel. I used a white ribbon bow in one corner and white flowers in the other 3 with white gems in two of the flowers and a butterfly charm in the other.

Smeard and Smudged Blog Hop

 Hi All

It's time again for the members monthly blog hop at Smeared and Smudged the theme this month is Anything Goes. I have altered a box.  The image I have used is from Smeared Ink and is from the set Specimen Jar.  It is coloured with pro markers. The papers I have used to cover the box are from a free download site sorry can't think of the name at the moment. I have edged the box with blue ink. And used black gems round the image, and a extra butterfly was added to the corner of the box.

Punkyougirl

There is a new Challenge Blog starting called PunkyouGirl. http://punkyougirl.blogspot.co.uk/   It is going to be a Dark Themed Challenge Blog.  At the moment they have a DT call out so I have decided to try out for the team. Bio

My name is Jane and I am nearly 60 years old. I enjoy all types of craft, card making, altered items etc. I am a mother of 4,  (3 boys and 1 girl)  and grandmother to 15 and a bit.  I am owned by 2 cats Lila and Cloudy.
I work as a support worker in a care home.

I am at the moment a proud DT member of Delicious Doodles.

Quoth the Raven

Hi All

Today I have an  altered project to show you that I have made for the challenge at Quoth the Raven http://poequoththeraven.blogspot.co.uk/ .  I have altered a candle and candle stick. All the images I have used are from the Quoth the Raven set from Smeared Ink.  The images on the candle were printed direct onto tissue paper, just tape one end of the tissue paper to a piece of A4 card and it goes through the printer with no problems. They were then cut out and using a heat gun and a piece of  greaseproof paper stuck to the candle.  The images for the candle stick were printed onto card and then cut out and glued onto the candle stick.  The only colour used was on the heart and was done with a red pro-marker.

 

The candle is a 3 1/2 inch square and the candle stick is 12 inch's high.

Domino Art Challenge

Hi All

Today I have a Domino Book to share with you. I have made my Domino Book for the first challange at Domino Art Challenge  http://dominoartblog.blogspot.co.uk/   Rick St Dennis hads sponsered the first challenge and kindly provided some free images. I have used the Easter images. I have used pro-markers, whisper pens and sharpies to colour my images. After I had coloured the line of images  I fussy cut them out then glued to a strip of black card. I cut out the 2 end images to use on the front and back of my book. Hope you like it.
