Hi All

It's challenge time again at StampinSanity for my team, our theme this week is "Favourite Colour". I have used Red and Black for mine with a touch of purple thrown in. My StampinSanity image was coloured with promarkers. The card is from my stash.

Delicious Doodles DT Call

Hi All

Delicious Doodles has a DT call out, and as I adore Terri's images I thought I would give it a try. To apply you had to make a new project and post it on your blog and then link to the Delicious Doodles Blog. It was hard to decide which image to use as I love them all but decided on the Tattoo&Feathers image and the steampunk corners as I love steampunk. I thought I would do something other than a card so made a wall hanging. I first printed the corner on to a piece of white card then turned the card round and printed it again so I had a steampunk corner in 2 corners of the card ( I am amazed that it turned out right the first time lol ) I then trimmed down the card on both sides. I applied purple ink over the card with a piece of sponge. The image was coloured with promarkers, I also used some cogs down the side edges of the card to finish.

Smeared&Smudged BlogHop

Hi All

It's time again for the members bloghop over at Smeared&Smudged. Our theme this month was to use "Alter Something". I decided to alter a box. I first painted the box with white paint and left to dry. Then a coat of PVA was applied and left to go tacky, purple paint was applied next and the box was left to dry, I then rubbed the box over with a ink pad. It did not come out as I wanted it to,this was because I did not apply the PVA in one direction, as you can tell this was the first time I have tried to do a crackle effect, hopefully it will be better next time after some expert advice from BD. The images I used on the box are from the new digi releases from Smeared&Smudged

Macabre Monday Challenge

I have made this card for the challenge at Macabre Monday who's theme is
 "Kunously Korroded with KennyK". I have used a KennyK image which is coloured with promarkers. I made the background paper with ink and water. The edges of the paper were torn and the edge of the card base was distressed.

Smeared&Smudged Blog Hop

Hi All

It's time again for the Members Blog Hop at Smeared and Smudged. Our theme this month was to use   a natural element.  There had to be some sort of natural element that we found outside included in our project. It can be a stick, a rock, a pressed flower, a leaf, a bone, etc. The only criteria is that you cannot use a replica  Also,  there needed to be a stamped image (rubber or digi) somewhere. I have used a Smeared Ink Digi stamp that I coloured with promarkers. I distressed a frame and used a background paper that I made myself with Marbling Ink. I made a leaf in clay that I also coloured with promarkers the natural elements I used were some flowers and leaves from my garden.

So come and join in our hop and have some fun.

Macabre Monday challenge

Hi All

I have made this card for the challenge at Macabre Monday who's theme this week is "Pleasure and Pain".
You had to use something you loved and something you hated. I really did not have to think very hard on what I was going to do. From the very start I have hated leaving a white border round my images so decided that I was going to start to cut them out even if they were very fussy cutting. I was not very good at the beginning but kept trying to now when I feel my cutting out is passable. So for my pleasure part of the challenge I have used fussy cutting and for the pain I have left a white border.

Burtonesque Dolls

Hi All

Today I have made a project for the challenge over at Burtonesque Dolls who this week are sponsored by one of my favourite digi company's  Strange Skin.
The theme is  "Monsters Have Taken Over The Factory".
I have used a Strange skin image of the Invisible Man and have made a choc bar that makes you invisible. I also made a advertising poster to go with my chocolate bar. All are coloured with promarkers. Hope you like them.
