Quoth the Raven

Hi All

This is the card I have made for the challenge at Quoth the Raven who's theme is Edgar Allan Poe's poem A dream within a Dream. I have used a Smeared Ink image which is coloured with pro markers. I have used real sand on my image.

Smudgy Antics

Hi All

Hope everyone has had a great weekend. This is the piece I have made for Smudgy Antics as Guest DT this week.  http://smudgyantics.blogspot.co.uk/

The theme for this week is Pop Art I love doing 3D projects so I enjoyed this one. I used Flame Milagro which I printed 4 times, then coloured. The base piece was left whole the remaining 3 layers were cut out taking pieces off each one so that each piece was smaller. I then layered up. I then used some backing paper to cover my fat book page glued on a bow and 2 strips of paper tp finish. Hope you like it. Come on over to Smeared and Smudged and play along with us.

Smeared and Smudged Blog Hop

Smudgy Antics

Hi All

It is challenge time again at Smudgy Antics http://smudgyantics.blogspot.co.uk/. The theme this week is Creatures of the Night. I have used a Smeared Ink image from their Bat Set.  I printed it out 5 times to layer it, then dipped it in the melting pot. I glued a feather to a hair slide, then added my bat to finish I used a tassle and metal flower.

SmudgyAntics

Hi All

Hope that everyone is well. Today I have to share with you my card for SmudgyAntics
http://smudgyantics.blogspot.co.uk/. As GDT this month I get to play along with Smeared and Smudged awesome DT.  The theme this week is  "YOU LEAVE ME IN STITCHES".

This challenge prompt can go in several different directions. You can take the challenge literally and use an image with stitches (or add stitches to a "normal" image). You can use stitching (real or fake) on your projects or you can create something so damned funny that you cause us to have a stitch in our sides from laughing so hard.

I have used a Smeared Ink image from the owl set.  I have used promarkers to colour.  For my project I also used the sketch from the monthly sketch challenge at Smeared and Smudged.

I have used a piece of black card for the card base and gold and silver card for the rest. I stitched around the oval before placing my owl.  The text was done on the computer.

SmudgerChallenge Blog

Hi Here is my second card for today and this one is for the challenge at SmudgerChallenge

For the background I used a piece of gold card and a piece of black net. I madea heart in red card. To finish I used some silver metal hearts to which I added some red heart gems.

Gloomy Art

Hi All

I have a card to share with you that I have  made for the challenge at Gloomy Art    http://gloomy-art.blogspot.co.uk/ who's theme is Spiders . The image I used was from Smeared Ink's set Killer BoPeep. I used promarkers to colour. The background papers are from a cd by Gems Designs called Gothic.

I added a red ribbon and gem to finish.

Delicious Doodles

Hi All

This is my DT piece for Delicious Doodles our challenge this week is Summer Holiday. This will be our last challenge until September.  I have used Gothic Bride and Goth Guy from Delicious Doodles.
Both images are coloured with pro markers. The words were typed on the computer and I added the flowers to finish.

Guest DT at Smeared & Smudged

Hi All

I was very lucky to be asked to be GDT at Smeared and Smudged for this month http://smearedandsmudged.ning.com/.   Why not pop over and play along, there is also lots of other challenges you could join in with. As GDT  I get to pick the challenge which is going to be  Alter a Book

There is no theme for the book so you can alter it to suit yourself. I do hope that you will play along with me this month. I have a sample to share with you of the Altered Book I have made for this challenge. I used an old children's story book. Here are some pictures.


I covered the book with black paper added some metal corners ( these are all thre same colour even though in the picture one look's gold ). The image is from As Death and coloured with promarkers. I made the clasp from black card and added the keyhole and key. To finish the front I added the bookplate and wrote the word Love to insert into it.

On the inside I used another image from As Death also coloured with promarkers. I used a sentiment from the same set. The other words used, sorry, I cant remember who's they are. To finish the first page I added some chipboard dies which I coloured red and outlined in gold. I joined the pages of the book with brads and then cut out the square. The inside pages were painted with white paint. I added some metal flower charms around the square hole. The heart is from Quoth the Raven. I stamped it 3 times to layer it. I then dipped it into my melting pot.

Smudgy Antics

So here is the card I made for Smudgy Antics,  the  theme this week is Anything Goes  http://smudgyantics.blogspot.co.uk/.
